PlantCML, an EADS North America company, has released the Vesta Pallas 2.6 Service Pack 2, an all-in-one, IP-based call taking system for call centers with two-to-12 call taking positions.
According to the company, the Vesta Pallas handles both emergency and administrative calls in an easily installable, turnkey system. Vesta Pallas is a converged voice and data system, providing a choice of IP-enabled or pure-IP strategy alongside conventional functionality.
PlantCML has said that its Vesta Pallas 2.6 Service Pack (SP) 2 with Pallas PBX 4.0 is a significant upgrade that includes many new features and capabilities including: improvements in IP telephony with the introduction of the IP Key Expansion Module with 24 additional programmable keys; support of IP phones or hybrid phone configurations with TDM/digital handsets deployed in any combination; Element Manager, a new PBX maintenance program that eases configuration and facilitates faster backups.
