Pirtek, an Australian manufacturer and distributor of fluid transfer solutions, will implement ‘Manufacturing Advantage’ and ‘Warehouse Advantage’ to support company growth and expanding product lines.
Pirtek selected HighJump’s services in an attempt to create a flow of accurate, real-time demand and supply information throughout the company’s operations.
The HighJump solutions will integrate with a multilevel conveyor and Pirtek’s ERP system. The ERP will process work orders and communicate with the appropriate HighJump system regarding next steps for either fulfillment or production.
Manufacturing Advantage will optimize Pirtek’s shop floor production processes by coordinating assembly and test operations and maintaining full quality traceability records for each system produced. After production, Warehouse Advantage will direct picking, packing and shipping activities. Pirtek’s item variety requires complex rules to be applied during the final stages of distribution to minimize the cost associated with daily store shipments.
