At the South by Southwest conference in Austin, Pinterest CEO, Ben Silbermann, said the Pinterest site is rolling out profile pages that have been completely redesigned, according to a report by Mashable.
"We wanted to make it more beautiful … to make your profile different in kind than the profile you have on Facebook," said Silbermann.
He also announced news of a Pinterest iPad app in the works but did not give a release date.
Pinterest has grown at a swift rate since May 2011 and has more than 11 million unique monthly visitors according to reports from comScore. The site more than doubled its audience over six months with average users spending nearly 100 minutes per month on the site. Only two other sites have users that spend more time per month, Facebook and Tumblr.

The site has proven popular particular among women who use the site to share fashion, recipes, wedding tips, and crafts on their personal boards.
Silbermann graduated from Yale and worked for Google before launching Pinterest in 2009.
"To me, boards are a very human way of seeing the world," he said at the SXSW Conference. "It [Pinterest] is about helping people to discover things they didn’t know they wanted — things that feel like they’ve been handpicked just for you."
