Bird will be utilizing Philips’ semiconductor system solution for the forthcoming range of GSM devices. Teams of engineers and product designers from both companies will work together to integrate the companies’ two technologies into the device.
At present they have not released any further details about the joint venture or the specifications of the first phone to be produced but are expected to be announced shortly.
