PeopleSoft Corp yesterday announced new products aimed at helping its customers make the most out of their PeopleSoft applications as well as easing implementation. The ERP vendor said that its PeopleSoft Advantage framework is designed to provide maximum value of ownership throughout the PeopleSoft systems lifecycle, including planning, implementation, production, and enhancement.

The framework consists of two components. The Advantage ToolKit (ATK) is a web-enabled knowledge management solution designed to help project teams more effectively implement, maintain and upgrade PeopleSoft solutions. The second component, PeopleSoft Express, is a menu of different implementation approaches designed to help customers find the best implementation strategy to suit their needs. PeopleSoft said it features examples for all types of customers, including those with focused, high compression projects to broad, enterprise implementations. PeopleSoft Express is available through the PeopleSoft Professional Services Group (PSG).

Combined, the two components will enable users to carry out faster, more robust and cost effective implementations that take into account customers’ lifecycle requirements. PeopleSoft also announced enhanced consulting programs offering fast access to PeopleSoft lifecycle expertise and ERP implementation knowledge. New programs include PeopleSoft Advisor, Advantage Service Menu and the Customer Care Business Center (CCBC).
