PCQuote.com Inc has filed for its initial public offering of 7.75 million common shares. The Chicago-based company, which is the internet unit of PCQuote Inc and provides online financial information and analysis, has tentatively priced the offering at $12 to $14 per share. Of the total shares to be sold, 5.8 million will be issued by the company and 1.95 million will be sold by parent PC Quote Inc, which says it then intends to change its name to HyperFeed Technologies Inc. Thus, at the middle of the offering range, the company would raise $75.4m before expenses and the entire sale would be worth $100.8m. Prudential Securities is acting as lead-manager of the offering and US Bancorp Piper Jaffray, FAC/Equities and E*Offering Corp are acting as co- managers.
