Enterprise analytics platform provider ParAccel has released the new version of its analytic platform for big data, ParAccel 4.0 which will help organisations enhance their performance with interactive big data analytics.

ParAccel 4.0 enables companies to execute analytics in dynamic and interactive environments with a 15% increased stability and performance.

Advanced Query Optimization feature in Release 4.0 tracks data properties through the pipeline of query processing, accelerating aggregation by more than 20 times.

The new release includes a virtual hotwire feature that doubles data transmission throughput while using fewer CPU cycles and it uses an improved pre-fetch algorithm to adapt intelligently to changing workloads resulting in consistent performance improvement

ParAccel 4.0 features new Hash Join Algorithms that optimise memory use and change the execution strategy at run-time resulting in improved performance.

It also introduces a persistent class of queries to ensure the performance of both short and long-running queries in an interactive environment.

The new release now holds expanded connections that support up to 5000 simultaneous client connections to the ParAccel Analytic Platform.

It also features vacuum capability that improves the maintenance of tables with large unsorted regions and eliminates internal fragmentation with a finer-grained, dynamic segmenting and merging technique.

ParAccel 4.0 extends support for built-in functions including new window functions and improved precision for analytic execution.

The company add several SQL functionality to the new release, including the support of efficient ways to define tables that can be reused during the execution of a query. These combined features allow larger numbers of users to execute queries in a interactive analytic environment.

ParAccel CEO Chuck Berger said, "ParAccel Analytic Platform allows data scientists and business analysts to power through increasingly complex queries on massive amounts of data, in real-time."
