The new product will be primarily directed at brokers using exchange provided terminals.
As a result of the partnership, Orc Software will gain access to a global distribution channel selling through the exchanges via OMX.
OMX is planning to transfer its front-end development team to Orc Software, which will take over the responsibility for the development of the new product. OMX will continue to support its existing front office products.
The new front office trading platform is expected to be launched to customers at the beginning of 2006.
