Fullfilling and more its promise, because the thing was set for launch next quarter, Novell Inc on Tuesday began shipping its NetWare Web Server, software that turns NetWare 4.1 servers into World Wide Web publishing servers for external and in-house use. It says the Web Server builds on the distributed services of NetWare, including the security and management features of NetWare Directory Services, to create a powerful, easy way to use the Internet for internal and external publishing. It supports symmetric multiprocessing and is designed to install out-of-the-box under the NetWare 4.1 network operating system. It sells for $1,000.
