NEC Corp president Tadahiro Sekimoto has confirmed that his company is ready to help Compagnie des Machines Bull SA, La Tribune-Defosses reports: We will help Bull – I am ready to discuss things with Mr Descarpentries, whom I should receive in November or December; in any case, before Christmas, Sekimoto was quoted as saying after a conference with Paris mayor Jacques Chirac on the isle of Awashima, south of Tokyo; the president added that he lacked information about the exact situation of the French computer maker and, therefore, had not yet decided what form the aid will take; Sekimoto had received a written request for aid from French industry minister Gerard Longuet.
