Email appliance company Mirapoint Inc has snared NCR Corp’s network solutions group as its newest channel, claiming it will add six other resellers within 90 days and be up to ten by year-end. Mirapoint is particularly pleased because NCR will be selling its M series POP 3 servers alongside kit from Cisco and other services. NCR may also leverage Mirapoint for its voice over IP services. It plans to ‘drip out’ its wins one by one for maximum marketing effect. In Europe it has just signed a unit of Comparex and another of Telundus to peddle the servers. Mirapoint claimed to have 40 systems in the field on May 17. It claims it will double the number of installs every month.
