The DownloadCard can be purchased exclusively at Multirama Stores throughout Greece. The card is ready to use immediately and is backed by mpGreek’s network and infrastructure. The cost of the card is E12.50.
The music card has a redeemable value of 10 music points. The points system works as follows; one point per individual song; two points for individual music videos; 10 points for whole albums, and five points for one month’s subscription to mPOD.
Alex Kombogiannis, mpGreek director, commented, We have priced the card cheaper than the average sale of a retail CD, which is a great advantage for the user. Until now 98% of our sales have been via credit cards and we believe that for the region of Greece the launch of DownloadCard will be a great success.
