Analog Devices Inc president Jerry Fishman told the conference he is confident Analog, whose integrated circuit products include data converters, interface circuits and newer signal processing products, will achieve solid revenue growth and a solid increase in profits in fiscal 1995, and Reuters cornered company spokesman James Fishbeck afterwards, to be told that an analyst’s estimate of $1.44 per share for the company’s fiscal 1994 earnings was within expectations; the company earned $0.88 per share, or $44.4m in fiscal 1993; the forecast came from a Montgomery Securities analyst, who also estimates that Analog will earn $1.91 per share in fiscal 1995, but Fishbeck said that that figure falls at the high end of company’s and analysts’ expectations; he said earnings should grow by more than 15% while research and development expenditures will remain at about 13% of sales.
