Mindtree, which is jointly based in Bangalore, India, and Somerset, New Jersey, will pay an undisclosed sum for Bangalore-based Linc, which has over 220 employees at operations in the US, UK, Singapore, Switzerland and Australia.
Linc targets the manufacturing, banking, and insurance sectors, and clients include Unilever, Atlas Copco, Novartis and Viacom.
Mindtree is aiming for revenue of $230m in the year ending March 2007, after reporting sales of $55m in its most recent fiscal year ending March 2005. In October 2004, it paid an undisclosed sum to acquire ASAP, a Noida, India-based ERP services company with 120 staff.
