Thera, which will sell for around $800, aims to rival other PDAs with mobile data capabilities, such as Handspring’s Treo and Nokia’s 9210 Communicator. It works using the CDMA standard, and also supports 2.5G solution CDMA2000 1X.
Sierra Wireless developed the device’s wireless capabilities, using the new CDMA2000 1X chipset.
