Atlanta, Georgia-based Stratature would enable Microsoft to have a consistent master data management platform across those groups, and increase its MDM capabilities within its Office applications and servers, according to Microsoft.
Microsoft promised to give more details on future integration plans at a later date.
It does, however, plan to withdraw current Stratature products from market. Existing customers who want to expand their deployments are encouraged to contact their Stratature representative to discuss additional purchases, said a statement on Stratature’s web site.
It is important to keep in mind that most of Stratature’s customers are Microsoft customers and it is our shared aim to provide more value to customers in the end through the acquisition, said the statement.
