MicroAge Integration, the Phoenix, Arizona-based systems integration arm of $4bn MicroAge Inc, has acquired Bell & Watson Plc, a corporate reseller and systems integrator based in the UK. Financial terms were not disclosed. The company will be renamed MicroAge (UK) Ltd, and serve as a hub for MicroAge’s European operations. Bell & Watson, based near Heathrow in West London, has 55 staff and a service center in Birmingham, and its operations will be merged with MicroAge’s existing London-based operation. The buy is part of the company’s ongoing plans to expand its direct operations into Europe. MicroAge Inc separated out its distribution and systems integration arms onto separate companies back in February (CI No 3,381), renaming the distribution company Pinacor.
