McGraw-Hill Higher Education, which currently distributes test banks in the EZ Test format, will additionally make test banks available from the Respondus Test Bank Network, a platform that allows faculty to download test banks with their Respondus 3.5 and StudyMate 2.0 applications.
Under the alliance, assessments can be printed to paper or published directly to course management systems distributed by Blackboard, Angel, eCollege, and other e-learning vendors.
The alliance will also allow faculty who use StudyMate 2.0 to create Flash-based learning activities and games from McGraw-Hill’s test bank files.
Instructors at thousands of institutions will benefit from this alliance, said David Smetters, president of Respondus. We receive requests almost daily from faculty who want McGraw-Hill Higher Education test banks in Respondus format.
McGraw-Hill Higher Education has released an initial set of Respondus-formatted test banks, including McConnell-Brue, Understanding Business 8/e and Fundamental Accounting Principles 18/e. Additional textbook test banks will be added to the Respondus Test Bank Network throughout 2007.
