Matsushita is to sue rival Samsung over alleged patent infringements. The lawsuit accuses the world’s top maker of dynamic random access memory (DRAM) chips of patent violations in DRAM technology.
Samsung is to contest the lawsuit. In a statement Company Spokesman Chung Deuk-si said, Samsung has never used technology related to this Matsushita suit. We too invest a lot of money in research and development, and we respect other companies’ patents, We will launch a strong legal struggle against Matsushita.
