Users will be able to share files of Sony BMG’s music via searches performed on existing file sharing networks. Each song will be priced at 99 cents per track, although users can preview the entire track for a limited number of plays for free before deciding to purchase.
Mashboxx is designed to utilize digital fingerprinting technology from Snocap to identify copyrighted songs.
