Information management software provider, Tyler Technologies, is supplying the city with services drawn from its MUNIS division, including a combination of financial, human resource, revenue and productivity software, as well as professional services and ongoing maintenance and support. Additionally, the city has selected disaster recovery and operating system/database administration services from Tyler.
According to Peter Gilbert, information technology manager for the city, a major advantage of Tyler’s MUNIS software applications is their complete integration, Replacing three separate systems with one ERP system will have a major positive impact on the City of Las Cruces.
The agreement makes the City of Las Cruces the first local government in New Mexico to select Tyler’s MUNIS software as its financial solution, a reflection of what Tyler views to be its commitment to serving the local government sector in the western United States.
