KPN will deploy Tellabs’ new VERITY(TM) 3000 voice-quality enhancement system to deliver superior voice quality in its international long-distance network.

KPN’s deployment of the latest voice-quality enhancement systems extends its commitment to provide subscribers with premier quality, echo-free calls.

Since 1995 Tellabs has worked with KPN, which has an extensive installed base of EC-7000 and EC-8000 systems, now augmented by the VERITY 3000 system. The new equipment will be installed at international exchanges in Rotterdam, Netherlands, and Frankfurt, Germany, in addition to systems already installed in Madrid, Spain; Milan, Italy; Zurich, Switzerland; Paris and New York.
