Knowlix Corp has signed an integration partnership with Platinum Software Corp, and will combine its iKnow knowledge management software for call centers with Platinum’s Clientele internal helpdesk management application. Draper, Utah-based Knowlix says the combination will help customers add knowledge tools to their support operations. The two companies are jointly installing the combined product at Globe Business Resources in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Knowlix has a similar partnership with Bendata Inc for its Heat internal support center automation software, and also sells its products through third-party network integration firm, Barnhill Associates Inc. The company was founded in May 1997 to develop knowledge tools for integration into the existing workflow of internal help desks and customer support centers. It claims the tool can reduce call duration, diminish first-time calls, and decrease expensive call escalation. Autodesk Inc is one of its larger customers.
