Keane said its revenue for Q3 should now fall between $230m and $232m, down from its past forecast of $240m to $250m. The lowered outlook also includes a two-cent drop in diluted cash EPS, which exclude certain charges, to a range of $0.16 to $0.18. Analysts polled by Reuters Estimates on average expected EPS of $0.19 on revenue of $245.6m.
In a separate announcement, Keane said it has fired Richard Garnick, president of the company’s North American and global business lines and a member of the three-person office of the president the company created after the resignation of president and CEO Brian Keane in May following sexual harassment allegations.
The company said Garnick had violated its policy on travel expenses and unauthorized communications.
Garnick joined Keane in August 2005 after leaving Wipro Technologies Ltd. John Leahy, who was also named to the office of the president, will retain his role as president, CEO, and CFO, the company said. Keane hopes to hire a new President and CEO by the end of the year.
