Application integration firm Kapow Software has joined the Google Enterprise Partner programme to provide enhanced search to enterprise users.
The new partnership will enable Kapow Katalyst Application Integration Platform 9.0 to extend the Google search technologies across the enterprise and helps customers gain more value out of their Google enterprise search deployments.
Kapow Katalyst can make any application searchable – including legacy applications from IBM, Oracle and SAP by extracting business-critical metadata and creating a Google Search Appliance feed.
Kapow Katalyst can create a Google Search Appliance feed from any of the current wave of Web 2.0 apps including wikis, community sites, support apps and any of the social and collaborative apps.
The Google Enterprise Partner programme includes developers, consultants and independent software vendors that provide value-added services for Google enterprise products.
Kapow Software CEO John Yapaola said joining the Google Enterprise Partner programme helps it provide enhanced Google search to enterprise users.
"With Kapow Katalyst our customers rapidly create fully enriched feeds from any content source, maximizing the return on their search technology investment," Yapaola said.
"Kapow Katalyst extends the reach of Google Search Appliance to incorporate content locked within applications, even those without APIs, and enhances its value by enabling powerful metadata enrichment that dramatically improves search quality and content findability."
