The college will utilize an integrated ERP system to update student administrative and business office systems, a campus portal to connect all constituents and an innovative e-learning system.

Jenzabar’s EX program, based on Microsoft technology, links administrative offices through a centralized database and provides a suite of reporting and communication tools.

Student information systems will be deployed to help Virginia Intermont College (VIC) manage data throughout the student lifecycle, while fully integrated business office systems will streamline administrative tasks.

Through integration with Jenzabar’s ERP system, the Internet Campus Solution (JICS) and Learning Management System will provide students, faculty, staff and alumni with access to academic and administrative information online.

In addition, the campus portal and web-based e-learning system will offer VIC’s constituents a full range of communication tools, including e-mail and calendars, chat rooms and discussion forums.

Robert Maginn, Jenzabar CEO, said: Our web-based technology will help the college build stronger lifelong relationships with the entire campus community, from students and faculty to alumni and donors.
