Intergraph Corp’s Intergraph Software Solutions has signed an agreement with Deneb Robotics Inc of Auburn Hills, Michigan to act as a reseller for Deneb’s Virtual NC and Ultra interactive simulation software packages. Deneb’s Virtual NC software enables designers to visualise and analyse the functionality of a machine tool, its computer-numerically controlled controller and the material removal process from a three-dimensional perspective. It is currently being used in concurrent engineering, rapid prototyping and machine tool simulation as the software automatically detects collisions or near misses when constructing a design and will stop the cycle or log each time it happens. Deneb’s Ultra package enables the rapid prototyping and evaluation of robotic manufacturing processes. The agreement extends an existing contract between the two companies in which Intergraph acts as a reseller for its IGRIP simulation software.
