According to the agreement, signed by Mr. N. Manasis, Chairman & C.E.O. of OTE and Mr. A. Piliounis, C.E.O. of TELEDOME, the companies’ networks will be interconnected initially in 5 cities, namely Athens, Thessaloniki, Patras, Tripoli and Herakleion, while, by September 2001, the interconnection will be expanded to 5 more regions covering the entire country.

With this agreement, the fifth consecutive after the ones with Europrom, Quest Wireless, Forthnet and Lannet Communications, OTE faces other telecommunication companies as clients, continuing its strategy towards this direction and hence facilitating the full deregulation of the Greek telecom market.
