Interactive Intelligence has said that it will deploy its all-in-one IP communications software suite, Customer Interaction Center (CIC), for Quality Bicycle Products (QBP), a bicycle parts, accessories and apparel distributor.

The CIC will provide QBP employees with functionality for automatic call distribution, interactive voice response, unified messaging, voice mail, presence management, conferencing, and reporting.

In addition, CIC will replace QBP’s Mitel phone system and support all of QBP 500 employees located at corporate headquarters in Bloomington, Minnesota and at its distribution centrein Ogden, Utah.

QBP chief information officer Jed Hicks said that Interactive Intelligence’s open, single-platform software architecture, eliminated the need for them to purchase third-party components, minimised the number of systems they would need to manage, and maximised inter-operability with existing systems.

QBP also plans to deploy CIC add-on apps for multichannel recording and quality monitoring, and workforce management.
