Under the terms of a technical tie-up the two San Francisco-based companies signed last week Groxis’ Grokker enterprise search management tools, including its, will be integrated into the IntelliSearch 2.0 as a single product and services offering.
Grokker works by pulling together corporate databases, subscription content, and search engines using federated integration and presenting results to user through a patented graphical information interface (GII) which it claims allows knowledge workers to more intuitively explore, organize, and share information.
The GII lets users display hundreds of search results on a single page.
Grokker is privately-held and venture backed. The company hopes to tap into IntelliSearch’s US and European presence to expand its market reach.
