That includes Intel’s ATCA compute and packet processing blades, ATCA chassis, and chassis management hardware and software modules, AMC module as well as cPCI blades, cPCI chassis, and other legacy systems products.

Embedded systems maker RadiSys said the deal would add at least $50m of ongoing revenue per year once the products were integrated into its operations.

A significant number of Intel employees, including engineering, product testing/validation, operations and marketing personnel, would be rehired by RadiSys, said the company.

The deal is slated to close this month.
