The product was selected to create a single-platform solution, which is expected to enable the insurance firm to address multiple steps in the automotive claims process, from first notification and dispatch to repair and total loss settlement.

CCC Autoverse uses technology based on the Collision Industry Electronic Commerce Association’s (CIECA) EMS open standards to provide a centralized web portal to dispatch, receive, review and conclude the physical damage process of an auto claim. This is aimed to help insurers increase the productivity of their staff and drive efficiencies in their processes. Additionally, it eliminates the need for an insurer to operate multiple applications to exchange information with appraisers and repair facilities.

Edgar Meza, vice president of claims at Fred Loya, stated that they intend to take the benefits from CCC Autoverse and apply them to expansion efforts into the New Mexico and southern California markets this year.
