The company will deliver a range of services from the Brno site, including back-office financial work, sales order management, and finance and accounting services.

The center has about 80 employees and can offer services in 16 different European languages. It is the first Progeon site in the Czech Republic.

While Progeon lacks the size of the other large Indian IT vendors’ BPO arms, such as Wipro Technologies and Tata Consultancy Services, the outsourcing shop has grown impressively since it opened three years ago. The company brought in $43m in revenue last year, and it has 19 clients, 13 of whom are existing Infosys IT customers.

The move to the Czech Republic could be a sign of Progeon looking for additional European clients or trying to lure Infosys’ European customers into BPO deals.
