As part of the agreement, IDG France will merge its InfoPC title into l’Ordinateur Individuel, increasing the circulation to 165,000, making it the leading PC magazine in one of the largest European IT markets. Presently, l’Ordinateur is the fastest growing PC publication in France. IDG’s global advertising network will also add the Groupe Test title Micro Hebdo to its offerings.
As the only technology media company that operates globally, IDG’s international sales network is the most powerful marketing partner in the IT industry, said John O’Malley, president of IDG Global Solutions. This addition to IDG’s portfolio will ensure that we offer the market leading title in each of our publication product lines for our customer’s global marketing programs.
IDG Global Solutions also represents the titles published by IDG France, which include LeMonde Informatique, Réseaux & Télécom, and Distributique. Following the merger of its InfoPC title with l’Ordinateur Individuel, IDG France will focus exclusively on publications and events for IT professionals and the enterprise computing market.
