IBM Corp has extended its Flexible Work Leave of Absence programme for US employees with the need to care for a dependent or who have other individual needs to cover all locations in the US: under the programme, employees will be able to work 20 to 30 hours a week and will receive full benefits for the first three years and be able to continue working part-time beyond three years, the current limit on such arrangements – and the programme also provides time off for leave, for national holidays and illness.
