Prices for the Storage Essentials Standard Edition SRM software start at $37,000, and rise to $150,000, at which point HP expects to customers to trade up to the bigger, existing Storage Essentials Enterprise Edition.
Unlike its bigger brother, the standard edition only supports HP’s mid-range EVA and MSA disk arrays, and EML tape libraries, and not any of HP’s other gear, or any other third-party products.
