UK and Ireland’s premium department store group House of Fraser has appointed Uday Kotla as new Chief Information Officer (CIO) to spearhead its IT strategy.
Uday Kotla will join the British department store group from 20th April.
Kotla will be responsible for developing technology solutions for the department store group, as it looks to develop its multi-channel offer and pursue its global retail ambitions.
House of Fraser CEO Nigel Oddy said, "We are delighted to announce Uday’s appointment today and I would like to personally welcome him to the team and the new critical role of Chief Information Officer.

Kotla has over 20 years’ of experience in digital enterprise platforms and has experience of handling projects in retail, high tech and finance.
Previously, he has managed enterprise architecture, IT strategy and digital initiatives for companies including Walmart, Adidas and Tesco.
Prior to joining the organisation, Uday was working as Global Head of Technology Consulting at Infosys Digital.
