Goupil, a division of SMT International Holdings, the leading independent French micromaker, based in London SW15 has added two new models to its Golf range of portable computers: the AT-alikes have 80286 microprocessors running at 12.5MHz and are available with either a 40Mb or 100Mb hard disk; they have 640Kb zero wait state random access memory which is expandable to 4.6Mb on the motherboard and a 1.44Mb 3.5 floppy disk drive, and feature two half length expansion slots and one serial, one parallel and one mouse port; the 40Mb Super Golf 12.5MHz starts at UKP4,000, the 100Mb version is available from UKP5,000.
