The games will borrow thematically from Dan Brown’s best-selling book and test players with a series of puzzles that utilize symbol logic, chess-related codes, city map jigsaw puzzles and video riddles.
Among the more interesting of the games are the restoration challenge, in which players will need to restore a classic painting to reveal a hidden question, and the observation challenge, in which players watch movie clips and then answer trivia questions on what they have seen.
The will be a puzzle launched every day for the next 24 days, counting down to the film’s premiere. Once solved, the daily puzzles will introduce a riddle to the player that will require them to utilize one of Google’s services to solve, whether that be a simple search or Google Maps, Google SMS or Google Video.
Players who successfully complete each puzzle will be entered into a prize draw, with UK contestants being offered a return visit to Paris.
