The group is called the Business Council on Climate Change, which was launched late last week. Calling itself the BC3, the group plans to share and publicize green practices. Each member of the group has also pledged to set a goal for greenhouse gas emission reduction.
The BC3 said that of the group’s 27 current members, Google is the only IT supplier. But other IT vendors are currently applying to join, the group said.
