New World’s multi-jurisdictional Aegis/MSP computer aided dispatch (CAD) for law enforcement records management, fire records management, mobile computing, and corrections management, along with several additional modules, will provide the county with a totally integrated public safety system.
New World says that, using its software, the county’s consolidated CAD center, seven law enforcement agencies, six fire and EMS agencies and the DA’s office will be able to share information across the county to improve community services, increase safety and automate daily processes.
Developed using Microsoft technology, including Windows Server and SQL Server database, the Aegis/MSP software is suitable for any size public safety agency.
The Windows platform also reduces training, which will allow Garfield County to benefit from the integrated software quickly. In addition to information sharing and improved productivity, we are looking to take advantage of CCIC (Colorado NCIC) integration, integrated phase II compliance, paging and fire pre-plans, said Garfield County 911 director Carl Stephens. These will have a real impact on our ability to protect the community.
