Frank Dodge, recently president and principal officer of McCormack & Dodge, acquired by Dun & Bradstreet Corp in 1983 and merged with Management Science America Inc late last year, says that he intends to get back into the software business within the next six months: he believes that mainframe software is not worth having any more, and is looking at a number of new opportunities, including Unix; as regards his relationship with Dun & Bradstreet Software, he says that the release announcing his resignation was compiled with no input from himself, and he no longer formally communicates with the firm.
