easyLender mortgage is fully MISMO-compliant in the area of mortgage insurance (MI), so MI vendors that offer MISMO-compliant products can readily link their offerings to easyLender mortgage.
Because Mortgage Guaranty Insurance’s (MGIC) MI solution is also MISMO-compliant, data flows between the Fiserv and MGIC systems in a seamless, two-way data exchange that does not require easyLender users to open a separate browser window.
Ron Duff, Fiserv lending solutions’ senior vice president of IT, said, Mortgage lenders that use easyLender mortgage will benefit from the improved efficiency that results when technology providers create MISMO-compliant products. That’s because the MISMO MI standards enable trading partners to send and receive data without the overhead associated with creating customized, point-to-point interfaces.
The fully automated, two-way data transfer between MGIC and Fiserv eliminates redundant data entry and improves the speed and accuracy of the mortgage transaction. And, if loan information changes and needs to be resubmitted, the affected data fields are automatically updated and a revised commitment certificate is attached to the loan.
