Wireless Rebidding builds on eBay’s existing wireless email service which sends messages to customers when an auction is about to close or when someone has been outbid. Customers can now reply to these messages and submit a new bid for a monthly fee of $2.99. The service is available via both SMS two-way messaging and WAP mobile Internet services.
