En Pointe Technologies Inc, Los Angeles-based provider of computer products and services, has reported a third-quarter net loss of $936,000 on revenue up 27.2% at $182.9m, compared to net income of $720,000, or $0.12 per share, in the year-ago quarter. On a per share basis, the loss amounted to $0.16, far below the consensus estimate, which called for a loss of $0.30. For the nine-month period, net loss was $5.6m on revenue up 21.8% at $498.5m, against net income of $2.1m, or $0.34 per share, last year. Full-year results include one-time charges of $7.6m, as well as a gain of $4.4m from the sale of securities.
