The EMS-2000i system is developed, manufactured and marketed by Elmo-Tech Ltd., the Company’s wholly owned subsidiary.
The order is valued at $2.5M. The systems will be supplied through Elmo-Tech’s US Distributor, Security Link, a division of SBC/Ameritech. This marks the second major contract in the US announced by the company in recent weeks. Earlier this month, the State of North Carolina selected Company’s technology for its home detention program.
Elmo-Tech’s EMS-2000i electronic monitoring system is widely used across the US and by most European operators. The Company’s innovative systems offer a unique, multi-platform, open system architecture and operating methodology. Implementation of such systems allows detention of offenders in their home environments, thus facilitating rehabilitation and significantly reducing costs.
