Royston, Hertfordshire-based Digithurst Ltd will be launching its MicroEye TV range of multimedia products at the Hannover Fair this spring: the first personal computer plug-in card, MicroEye TV1, will be available this month and is a combined teletext decoder and video recorder that will offer 256Kb of page storage, up to 14 European languages, random access of teletext pages, a remote control ‘learning’ facility to mimic video controllers and personal computer-operated infra-red controller for television or video recorder; in the multimedia area, MicroEye can be used as a filter and capture device for Digithurst’s PictureBook software, assisting in the construction of multimedia books; it is supplied as an MS-DOS personal computer expansion card with an infra-red video and television controller handset and a set of C language library routines, and costs UKP500.
