Dialog has put the core capabilities of Spotfire to work for product engineering applications such as wafer mapping and product characterization, and also quality and reliability applications including lifetime testing and drift analysis.
Dialog has also deployed a Spotfire solution which contains manufacturing- specific capabilities including multivariate outlier detection, high volume data cleansing, specification limit control and dynamic process capability computations.
Kariem Yehia, group leader of the test support software section at Spotfire, said: We were initially looking for a dedicated yield management system (YMS) for our product engineers, but we decided that deploying enterprise analytics from Spotfire would give us much broader value.
