Dell has announced the latest release of Dell InTrust 11.0, a new IT data analytics solution which will allow organisations to analyse large amounts of IT data in one place.

InTrust will enable real-time insights into user activity across security, compliance and operational teams.

Steve Dickson, vice president & general manager, Dell Software Windows Server Management, said: "While tracking user and administrator activity is central to keeping an organization’s IT data secure, available and compliant, it’s a challenging task that requires combing through huge amounts of disparate data across numerous systems throughout the organization."

"Dell Software answers this challenge by enabling organizations to securely collect, store, search, and analyze IT data from numerous data sources, devices and systems – in one place with real-time insight of user activity."

"With InTrust 11.0, information security silos are eliminated, and IT has complete operational visibility and deeper insights into users’ complete history and the relationship they have with data. InTrust keeps organizational data available, compliant and secure, improving internal security by detecting suspicious patterns and event trends with real-time alerts."

The software will integrate with Dell SecureWorks and IAM security solutions. It will address regulatory compliance for PCI, HIPAA, SOX, FISMA by compressing, storing and indexing critical event log data for audits.
