SRC has unveiled a new version of Alteryx software platform, which features new tools and enhancements to streamline accessing and integrating variety of data sources including spatial data through its automated analytics workflow environment.
According to SRC, the new features in Alteryx 5.0 inlcude, spatial and non-spatial data analysis tools combined in one drag and drop workspace; delivery of actionable insights for resolving geographically-oriented business decisions; architectural design to enable instant enhancing of mapping, business intelligence (BI) and search engine applications; and eliminating the need for programming experience to develop geographic business intelligence applications.
The company claims that the Alteryx platform has the capability to span the entire geographic business intelligence workflow process, including data access, data quality and integration, analytics, and reporting and mapping.
The new offering provides the ability to edit existing data paths for sharing of modules among power users. New wizard or graphical user interface development tools, automated analysis linking and looping, and enhanced report layout and delivery features also serve the needs of advanced Alteryx users, SRC said.
The company said that the new offering enables data queries by linking Alteryx data tables together, offers spatial analytics such as combining spatial objects and calculating centroids and has an entirely new library of financial analysis functions. An overlay reporting tool has been included for configuring report output content in layers.
